Biomedical Signals

In this line we focus on the application of different signal processing techniques to clinical and biomedical research contexts in order to facilitate the study of mechanisms associated with functional and pathological processes, as well as to assist diagnostic and treatment procedures. In particular, we apply different methodologies in domains such as time, frequency and time-frequency among others, in order to obtain relevant information from each of the studied cases. Our projects are oriented principally to contexts of sleep and epilepsy.

In addition, we are interested in the development of recording systems for biomedical signals acquisition as well as stimulation devices, both invasive and superficial, that allow us the study of physiological processes in different experimental scenarios.
